Today is a day everyone should honor. It is 9-11.

I know everyone probably knows what 9-11 is. But just in case, I will still explain.

On this day in 2001, it was a normal day. Kids were in school, adults were going to work, when all of a sudden, a plane crashed into one of the Twin Towers. The people assumed it was just an accident. It was when another plane crashed the other Twin Tower when they realized it was being done on purpose.

Many people died during this time.

Whilst I don’t remember this event, I still feel remorse for the casualties of this event. It ranks the second highest as the most bloodiest day in U.S. history, passing the D-Day landings and right behind the Battle of Antietam. 2,977 people lost their lives. May we have a moment of silence...

hey, guys guess you should know but yeah... man it feels like yesterday when you think about it. that day when you were either at work, school or just at home and suddenly the news goes on the tv. you watched as two city towers in the screen, one on fire while another left untouched. only for a short while, though. you then see a plane cruising right at the second one and instantly everything is engulfed in flames after that.

I’m sure a lot of us wish this didn’t happen, but it did, and we just need to keep moving forward.

For now, I’ll be with my family mourning the losses of that day.

As the day comes to a close, at 11:51pm central time, I come to think of what happened in New York. I was only a year old at the time but even now the death still rings across the country. Even if those of us were too young to even grasp the concept of conflict, death, and war. We too are stricken with grief every time this day passes, the day we lost 3,000 innocent lives to the hands of terrorists who'd see this nation burn... simply for existing.. because we live in freedom, in liberty..
